We are in network with Aetna, Anthem/BCBS, Cigna, Horizon/BCBS, Optum/United Healthcare and Providence Health Plan. We can also assist with out-of-network benefits and claims through the use of superbills to help you recover out-of-network expenses.
Our goal is to be transparent with you about the cost of treatment, and we are happy to provide you with an estimate of co-pay and out-of-pocket expenses prior to your first session. We also routinely check benefits to help ensure your costs are minimized.
Sessions are typically 50-55 minutes in length and are $150 for an individual session or $190 for a couples session.
Occasionally, your therapist may be able to offer negotiated rate options. Space for sliding scale options is limited; however, feel free to inquire if you are interested in therapy but fear that finances may be a barrier.
Supervision for Licensed Associate Professional therapists is offered at $125 an hour for individual supervision or $75 an hour for dyad or small group supervision. Please reach out to us to discuss your needs and availability.
Prior to your first session, we will send you a release of information form to grant permission for specific information to be disclosed. You are free to add to or remove individuals from this list during the course of therapy. The only exception to this release of information is if you disclose information regarding plans to harm yourself, others, or a child who is being hurt. Safety is our top concern.
For children in treatment, we encourage parents to discuss their expectations around regular updates on their child’s progress and participation in family sessions as appropriate.
Your first session will include information gathering and a thorough overview of your history. We will discuss what brings you in to counseling, the goals we will work to achieve, and treatment options that may be recommended. By the end of the first session we will create a treatment plan for your therapeutic journey.
Following the first session, we will spend our time working towards goals we have created. We encourage all clients to identify what they would like to focus on in each session so as to get the maximum benefit as possible.
The length of time in therapy is different for everyone. During your first session we will discuss your goals for therapy and talk about how often we will meet. We typically recommend weekly or every other week sessions and decrease in frequency over time, but we will create a therapy plan that works best for you!
Yes we do! We offer both virtual sessions and in-person sessions depending on your preference, schedule, and availability. Some people opt for a combination of in-person and virtual. You have the freedom to choose which works best for you.
